CEO & Founder’s Statement
I’m a father, and at nineteen, I raised my right hand and became a U.S. Army Combat Medic. Six years in uniform taught me to move fast, tell the truth, and protect people when it matters. That mindset never left. When I exited the military, I stepped into healthcare operations—first at Aveanna as a Therapy Operations Director, then at InBloom Autism Services as a Regional Director—where I saw the same pattern over and over: great clinicians doing the right work, and dollars getting lost in the gap between rules, systems, and reality.
I eventually started Lacuna Autism Services to build the kind of organization I wanted to see—evidence-driven, operationally sound, accountable to families and accountable to staff. The deeper I went, the clearer it became; providers weren’t always paid fairly, payors couldn’t always defend spend, and investors were often pricing narratives instead of verifiable cash. Leakage, weak controls, and misaligned incentives were costing good organizations time, trust, and money.
I founded Aegis to close that gap. We bring evidence first—analytics paired with policy-accurate clinical review—so decisions stand up to auditors, payors, boards, and courts. We validate the entire contracts-to-cash engine and then fix what’s broken: onboarding and intake, payor contracts, billing workflows, denials, payment posting, compliance, and reporting. For commercial plans, we act as an independent auditor and strengthen network integrity. For investors, we prove revenue quality before capital moves. For public programs, we protect taxpayer dollars while keeping clean care moving.
What matters to me is usefulness. No theater, no noise—just findings you can defend and a plan you can run on Monday: owners, timelines, KPIs, and dashboards that make progress visible. We chose the name Aegis for a reason. A shield only matters if it’s up when you need it. Our promise is simple: protect what’s earned, defend what’s paid, and leave every client stronger than we found them.
